Cost of living support

The cost of living crisis is affecting a lot of people right now but there is help available. You don’t have to manage alone.

If you can’t afford to pay for essentials such as food, gas or electricity, you can speak with the Leeds Council Welfare Support Team on 0113 376 0452 ( open Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 9.00am to 4.30pm, Wednesdays 10.15am to 4.30pm and Fridays 9.00am to 4.00pm) or email welfare.rights@leeds.gov.uk. Leeds Council also offers a translation service and can arrange for an interpreter or translator to help you communicate with the council in your language.

Leeds Women's Aid

If you think you or someone you know may be experiencing domestic abuse, you can visit the Leeds Women's Aid website for help and support.

Chat is available Monday – Friday 1-4pm. You can leave us a message out of hours and we’ll get back to you via email.

CAMHS Crisis Line

Leeds CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services) Crisis Call Line is a mental health helpline for people aged under 18 in Leeds, open every day from 8 am to 8 pm. This helpline is for young people who are already known to Leeds CAMHS and those who haven’t already been referred or used the service.
