On Wednesday 11th March 2026, we held our second Community Iftar at Woodlands. It was a beautiful evening where we came together to break our fast and celebrate as one big family.

We were so happy to welcome 150 guests! The hall was full of smiles, kind words, and the delicious smell of food.

The night started with a wonderful surprise. Some of our children stood up and gave a short presentation. They talked about what Ramadan and Eid mean to them. They did a fantastic job, and we are very proud of them!

We were also joined by our local councillor, Mothin Ali. He spoke to the crowd and thanked the school team. He said the event was a brilliant example of community and love.

Our Headteacher, Mrs Clark, was delighted to see everyone coming together. She said:

"It was wonderful to see so many families sitting side-by-side. This event shows how much love and respect we have for each other at Woodlands."

A Huge Thank You!

Events like this take a lot of hard work. We want to say a massive thank you to Mrs Akhtar, Mrs Begum and Miss Altaf and our amazing staff team who gave up their time, and all the families who donated delicious food and money.

Because of your kindness, we raised money for Save the Children. This will help children who need it most.

Thank you to everyone who came. You made the night feel like home and we cannot wait for next year's event!
