Sponge SLT for Red Nose Day!

Fun and Splashes for Red Nose Day!

On Friday 20th March, our school playground was filled with cheers, and a lot of very cold water. It was Red Nose Day and we came together to do something brave and brilliant for Comic Relief.

Mrs Clark, Mr Trower, Miss Price and Miss Charles all stepped out onto the playground. They weren't there for a meeting – they were there to get sponged!

One by one, the children took aim with big, yellow sponges. The water was soaking and freezing, but every splash was met with a huge laugh. Even though the teachers were shivering, they had the biggest smiles on their faces!

We do these silly things because they make a real difference. The money we raised helps families who are having a tough time, both here in the UK and around the world.

"It was a chilly morning, but seeing the joy on the children's faces made it all worth it! We had so much fun. More importantly, we are so proud of our pupils for helping us raise money for people in need. It shows how much we care about others."

Mrs Clark, Headteacher

A huge thank you to everyone who joined in and donated. You’ve shown that by working together and having a bit of fun, we can help change lives.
