Reception stars shine bright with Superhero Films

We have a super exciting story to share from our amazing Reception classes. Our learners have been busy making their very own short films, and they've done a fantastic job!
Supertato to the Rescue!
This adventure started with our favourite superhero vegetable, Supertato! The children loved the Supertato books and decided to make their own stories come alive. They worked together like a real film crew.
First, they were busy writing their own scripts. They thought about what would happen in their film and what the characters would say. They used their imaginations to come up with exciting adventures for their new superhero characters.
Then came the fun part: rehearsing! The children practised their lines and their actions, just like real actors. They helped each other remember what to do. After lots of practice, it was time to record their films. They used cameras and worked together to make sure everything looked just right.
Buns for Popcorn!
To make their special film premiere even better, the children decided to sell delicious buns during our 'World of Work Week'. This was a brilliant idea to learn about earning money and working together. They sold lots of buns, and guess what? They earned enough money to buy yummy popcorn for everyone at their film premiere!
The Big Premiere!
On Friday 4th July, it was the big day! The children were invited to a special premiere of their films. It was just like a real cinema event, with popcorn, lights down low and lots of excitement. They got to see all their hard work up on the big screen.
"It's been incredible to see the children's creativity and teamwork shine through this project. From writing their scripts to selling buns and then seeing their films on screen, they've learned so much and had a fantastic time."
We are so proud of all our Reception stars! They showed amazing teamwork, creativity, and hard work. Well done, everyone!
Sit back, relax and enjoy!
