Hi Team Woodlands! Welcome back to school! We hope you had a good break.

This is going to be a busy and fun half-term! We have lots coming up, including:

• Assessments to see how well your child is doing.

• Cinema trips for some classes.

• Pantomimes, Christmas Shows and our Christmas Crafternoon.

• Special event days in school.

Remember, it is so important for your child to be in school every day! If you have any questions or worries, please speak to your child's teacher; we are here to help!

🗓️ Training Day

• Monday 10th November: School is CLOSED for a staff training day.

• We're back as normal on Tuesday 11th November.

🧦 Anti-Bullying Week

Next week is Anti-Bullying Week. We will be learning about how to be kind and friendly to everyone.

• Thursday13th November is Odd Socks Day!

• Children can come to school wearing their brightest, oddest socks to show we are all unique and special. Normal uniform should be worn.

🐻 BBC Children in Need

Friday 14th November is BBC Children in Need. We are raising money for children who need help.

• Your child can wear comfy clothes to school for the day.

• Please bring a 50p donation to help us raise money.

❄️ Woodlands Winter Warmer

Thursday 20th November at 2:15 pm

• We are holding a Winter Warmer event in the school hall.

• Miss Heron will be hosting a winter clothing bank where you can get free gloves, hats, and scarves for your children. Come along and see us!
