Happy New Year Team Woodlands 🌟
Happy New Year! We hope you all enjoyed a restful and joyful break with your loved ones. It has been an absolute pleasure welcoming everyone back to school this week to kick off 2026.
The children have had a great start to the year. They are already busy learning their new topics in class. We also held our first RESPECT Badge assemblies this week. It was lovely to celebrate so many children for their hard work and success!
We want to make sure every child is happy at school. If you are worried about anything, please come and talk to us. You can speak to your child’s teacher at the door or give the school office a call. We are always here to help you and your child.
Please help your child have the best start to the day by being on time every morning. It is also important that all children wear their full school uniform every day. This helps us all feel like part of the team.
Thank you for all your support. We are very lucky to have such great families, and we know that 2026 is going to be a fantastic year for everyone in Team Woodlands!
Be an attendance HERO! 🦸
Being an attendance hero means making sure your child is at school on time every day. This helps them become a superstar learner!
When children are in school, they get to have fun with friends and learn new things. Being on time means they don't miss out on important lessons and can start the day happy and ready. Every day your child is in school is a chance for them to shine and learn. So, let's be attendance heroes and make every school day count!

School Uniform👍
Wearing the correct uniform is a big part of being ready to learn. It helps children feel part of the school community and makes sure they are dressed for a day of learning. Please make sure your child wears the right uniform every day.
The uniform includes:
-
A school jumper or cardigan
-
A white polo shirt or shirt
-
Grey or black trousers, shorts, or a skirt
-
Black school shoes (not trainers)
If you need help with getting uniform, please come and talk to us. We are here to support you. Children should come to school in uniform on their PE days, bringing their PE kit with them.
Please make sure all your child's items are clearly labelled with their name. We are happy to do this with you in school!
