Pupil Parliament Elections

Our School's Pupil Parliament Election 2025

Our children have been very busy! They have been working hard to elect our new Pupil Parliament representatives.

First, the children who wanted to be a representative wrote down their ideas. They shared their plans with their classes, reading their manifestos with their friends. It was great to hear all their good ideas for making our school even better!

On Friday 19th September, HUB was transformed into a real polling station, just like the ones grown-ups use!

Each child came to the polling station to cast their vote. They were given a ballot paper and went into a private booth to make their choice. After they had chosen, they put their slip into a ballot box.

The children had to wait all weekend for the results. On Monday 22nd September, the new Pupil Parliament members were announced in their classes!

It's so important that our children get to have their say. Our Pupil Parliament gives them a chance to make a real difference in our school. This is also a brilliant way to teach them about how democracy works in the real world for when they are older. It shows them that their voice matters.
