Dear Parents and Carers of our Reception and Year 1 children,

At Woodlands, we teach children to read using the Little Wandle Letters and Sounds SSP and would love to share how we do this with you.

We will be looking at:

• The GPCs we teach and when.
• How we teach blending.
• How we teach tricky words.
• The importance of reading at home.
• How you can support your child at home. 

You will also be given the opportunity to ask any questions.  

The workshop will be on Tuesday 19^th September at 8:50 am until 9:15 in the school hall. Please come to the school hall after dropping your child off.
