Dear Families,
We’re excited to start the last half-term of the school year! There’s lots to look forward to, and we want to make sure every child finishes the year strong, happy, and ready for the next step.
✅ Need to Talk?
If you have any worries or questions, please speak to your child’s teacher at the door or give us a call. We’re always here to help and want to work together to support your child.
👕 Uniform Reminder
Please make sure your child comes to school every day in the correct uniform. It helps them feel part of our team and ready to learn.
📅 Check the Calendar
There are lots of events coming up! Please check the school calendar regularly so you don’t miss anything exciting or important.
We’re so proud of how far the children have come this year. Let’s finish with smiles, effort, and celebration!

Jeff Rich's Drumming Masterclass 🥁
On Monday 2nd June, Jeff Rich, the drummer from world-famous rock band Status Quo, came to Woodlands for a drumming masterclass with Years 3-6 The children had a fantastic time!

RESPECT Badge assemblies 🎖️
Last week, we hosted our penultimate RESPECT Badge assemblies for the school year. We've been blown away with the number of children earning our highest awards. Well done Woodlands, keep it up! See you at the next badge assembly in the last week of term!
Y5 Little Lifesavers Workshop ⛑️
On Friday 6th June, Year 5 spent the morning with Little Lifesavers, a charity that teaches children first aid! Our children worked in teams and learnt how to do CPR, the recovery position and what to do if you find someone unconscious! Well done Year 5 - you showed fantastic engagement!
Year 6 World of Work Week 👍
This week, Year 6 took part in their annual World of Work Week! The children spent each day doing a range of activities, exploring different careers and thinking about their own future aspirations. Keep your eyes peeled for the full story soon! A massive thank you to all the volunteers that gave up their time to come to Woodlands and make their WOW Week such a success!
